Former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey announced that she is not returning to the WWE until she has given birth to her baby. Rousey posted over seven-minutes long video on her official YouTube channel to reveal the update. It is, hence, clear that we cannot get to see the former mixed martial artist in the WWE for at least around a year.
In the video, she is sitting by her husband, Travis Browne on their porch. She explained: “As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first. I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby. I could look down at this beautiful child and be like ‘f— everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby.’ And you’ll never see me again. Or, I could be like my mom, who she trained while she was eight months pregnant and then won the US Open six weeks after giving birth. Which was unbelievable. I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level. But I’m just saying, you never know, I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m gonna feel in the future.”
Rousey even shared the video on Instagram and the revelation came exactly a week after she posted a photo on Instagram, kissing her husband, Browne. The caption of her post read some heart emojis and #impregnationvacation on which other WWE female superstars like Lacey Evans and Carmella commented with love emoticons.
